Vice President J.D. Vance, if he's known for anything, is known for his fierce love of family and is clearly a man who would do anything to protect them.
According to Breitbart, Vance was tested last week by a group of pro-Ukraine protesters who essentially chased him and his 3-year-old daughter around, which reportedly made her extremely "anxious" and scared.
Vance ripped the protesters for their actions and made it clear in an X post why he confronted them like he did. Vance had hoped to have civil words with them to come to a resolution, but they weren't interested in listening
The vice president has been the target of several protest events, including one recently at a Vermont ski resort, which forced him to move his family to an undisclosed location nearby because the protest was so large.
Vice President Vance held nothing back in his explanation as to what happened regarding the protesters pursuing him and his extremely young daughter.
"Today while walking my 3 year old daughter a group of “Slava Ukraini” protesters followed us around and shouted as my daughter grew increasingly anxious and scared," Vance wrote .
He added, "I decided to speak with the protesters in the hopes that I could trade a few minutes of conversation for them leaving my toddler alone. (Nearly all of them agreed.)"

"It was a mostly respectful conversation, but if you’re chasing a 3-year-old as part of a political protest, you’re a shit person.
Breitbar noted:
At the beginning of March, people in Vermont protested the Vance family’s visit to Sugarbush Resort, and were seen holding signs that read “Vance is a traitor. Go ski in Russia,” and “JD Vance is Nazi scum.”
Vance's supporters defended his words and actions, and applauded him for standing up and protecting his daughter.
"That's terrible, no one should be harassing a family with a young child like that. These protesters need to learn about respecting others' space and opinions. Glad you stood up to them, JD, hope your daughter is okay after the ordeal," one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "This is unacceptable on so many levels, the fact that you were even approached while spending time with your toddler is beyond me. Surely even you the vice president of the United States is entitled to some degree of normality, peace in you and your family’s personal lives."
Thankfully nobody was hurt as a result of the ordea, but one can be assured that Vance won't put up with that kind of nonsense in the future.
