Joe Biden's dogs "Major" and "Commander" already are known to have attacked White House personnel, bitten Secret Service agents, and generally terrified staff members.
Now a new report confirms that the Bidens had a third dog, "Champ," that also posed a threat.
A report in the Washington Examiner outlines the details uncovered by Judicial Watch, a government watchdog organization.
The report describes "Champ," a German shepherd, as "so threatening that agents and outdoor staff were warned to stay away from the second family's yard when the dog was out, and, failing that, they were advised to yell the dog's name as he charged because he sometimes stopped when called."
Those threats erupted while Biden was vice president, while incidents involving "Major" and "Commander" happened later, in the White House.
Judicial Watch reported getting Secret Service emails outlining the dangers, through a Freedom of Information Act process.
Previous evidence showed that the other two Biden German shepherds, "Major" and "Commander" sometimes drew blood and ripped clothing, the report said.
"The attacks suggested that the Bidens were poor trainers and custodians of their pets. Judicial Watch had reported that the former president was, at times, cruel to his dogs. In one report, they quoted a source that said Biden 'punched and kicked his dogs,'" the Examiner explained.
Judicial Watch chief Tom Fitton explained, "\No wonder the Secret Service is a mess. Biden's dogs terrorized agents and White House personnel for a decade, and nothing was done about it until Judicial Watch exposed the dangerous scandal."
"Champ" was with the Bidens before he was elected president and moved into the White House with the family. He died in 2021.
A younger dog at the time, "Major" then succeeded, but was given to friends after being "aggressive around staff and security."
Later, "Commander" was brought in by the Bidens, and he "attacked agents 24 times while the Bidens lived in the White House."
Eventually, in 2023, he was "sent away."
Judicial Watch released documentation of multiple concerns:
In 2012 a worker complained, "I need a couple of days off! Champ just tried to attack me!"
