Jill Biden's former press secretary shared prophetic warning ahead of debate

Jill Biden probably wasn't happy when her former press secretary went on TV to criticize her husband only moments before his disastrous debate performance.

Michael LaRosa shared a prophetic warning about the stakes of Biden's debate, telling Fox News that Biden needs to step it up.

"I don't think anybody is comfortable. It's a coin flip," he told Jesse Watters.

Jill Biden staffer's warning

LaRosa said Democrats felt good after Biden's first debate with Donald Trump in 2020, but "the mood of the country is very different now and there's a lot riding on tonight."

"I don't think anybody is satisfied right now," he said. "There's a lot of pressure on the president. He does have to pull away at some point."

LaRosa had also criticized the president's "scripted" public appearances in a comment to the New York Times, which has since called on Biden to end his re-election campaign.

LaRosa complained that Biden is too sheltered, leaving him unable to show off his strengths.

"Everything looks and feels so choreographed, scripted and controlled that it doesn't afford him the opportunities to show off his strengths—humor, empathy and compassion," LaRosa said.

Bidens defiant!

LaRosa's warning about Biden's lack of exposure was vindicated Thursday night by Biden's disastrous debate performance.

The 81-year-old's confused appearance shocked even devoted supporters, sparking calls for him to drop his re-election bid.

After the debate, Jill Biden was criticized for giving praise to her husband whom many saw as patronizing.

"Joe, you did such a great job! You answered every question, you knew all the facts!" she said.

In a shocking turn of events, the New York Times urged Biden to step down for the good of the country on Friday.

“There is no reason for the party to risk the stability and security of the country by forcing voters to choose between Mr. Trump’s deficiencies and those of Mr. Biden,” the paper's editorial board wrote.

Despite the growing demands for Biden to step down, he and his wife appeared undaunted at a rally in North Carolina on Friday.

"Folks, I give you my word as a Biden I wouldn't be running again if I didn't believe with all my heart and soul I can do this job. Because quite frankly the stakes are too high," Biden said.
