President Trump, under his Make America Great Again agenda, is ending the profligate use of the nation's flagpoles to promote various race and gender ideologies.
A report in the Washington Free Beacon confirms the State Department has adopted a "One Flag Policy" that bars U.S. flagpoles from flying flags other than Stars and Stripes, with one or two special patriotic exceptions.
The publication reported obtaining a copy of the order that bans Pride, Black Lives Matter and other flags that Joe Biden had allowed to use the gravitas of the American government.
"Starting immediately, only the United States of America flag is authorized to be flown or displayed at U.S. facilities, both domestic and abroad, and featured in U.S. government content," the State Department said, "The flag of the United States of America united all Americans under the universal principles of justice, liberty, and democracy. These values, which are the bedrock of our great country, are shared by all American citizens, past and present."
"Disciplinary action" is promised to those who violate the policy, which could be up to "termination of employment."
"The only other flags that will be permitted to fly are the Prisoner of War/Missing in Action (POW/MIA) emblem and the Wrongful Detainees Flag," the report said the government allowed.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio said, "The U.S. flag is a powerful symbol of pride and it is fitting and respectful that only the U.S. flag be flown or displayed at U.S. facilities, both domestically and abroad."
The report noted the White House said, "On the President's direction, the State Department will have an America-First foreign policy."
Biden had allowed an assortment of gender-ideology and racist flag emblems to be flown, including the Pride flag that usurped the Stars and Stripes on occasion at the White House.
"In June 2021, for instance, the U.S. embassy in Nassau 'raised the rainbow Pride Flag to honor the human rights of LGBTQI+ persons in The Bahamas and around the world,'" Biden's administration boasted at the time.
The report said during Trump's first term as president, he repeatedly refused permission to embassies and consulates to use the authority of the American government to promote such social perspectives.
It was in June 2023 when Biden allowed the White House to be draped with Pride flags, at an event when he celebrated the LGBT ideology with a party there, including three "guests" who were caught posing topless.
Fox News reported Barack Obama also promoted the use of LGBT flags at U.S. embassies while he was in the White House.
The report noted there also was a limit on Pride flags at embassies under the March 2024 $1.2 trillion spending pushed by Biden.
